You'd Better Watch Out Santa Claus, not a fantasy of modern Western society ‐ well‐known Christmas figure based on a historical person character of “Santa Claus” ‐ based on Saint Nicholas of Myra, third to fourth century bishop from Asia Minor before becoming Santa Claus ‐ Nicholas, appearance at the famed Council of Nicaea movies Quo Vadis? and Cecil B. DeMille's The Sign of the Cross ‐ stories of crucifixions, and being thrown to lions in the arena Romans persecuting Christians ‐ because they refused to revere the Roman emperor as a divinity Constantine's active interest in promoting Christianity ‐ for maintaining a unified and healthy church Bible, that Christians, like Jews ‐ worshipped only one God Council of Nicaea ‐ our modern representation of Santa Claus, would it take theology as seriously as Saint Nicholas did “Santa” of history, being a Christian bishop ‐ caring for and protecting souls in his diocese
