On Cishi's Military Power and the Provincial Military Function in Tang Dynasty

Abstract

State-level officials in the Tang Dynasty, clearly associated with a particular portfolio with the officials of military operations is the provincial governor, the state has a certain level of military functions. Provincial governor of the Tang Dynasty, "that all military Chijie a provincial governor of a state" is not virtual number, but with the provincial governor of the state-level military Responsibilities and consistent with military functions. Tang Dynasty, the provincial governor of the gun soldiers military power is limited, the provincial governor to lead the troops on the gun, soldiers have no right to send military power, state-level common soldiers of the military functions of the gun is weak, the central leadership has the absolute power of the military.
