New View Point on the Relationship between Legalist's Theory and the Downfall of Qin Dynasty

Abstract

Legalism in the past, people on the role of Qin history, basically divided into two stages, namely pre-Qin to promote unity, but the demise of the late Qin also bears the responsibility can not refuse. Can not be attributed to the demise of the Qin Legalism. Qin's demise is a complex issue, due to the use of home Qin Qin ideological domination which led to rapid demise is unfounded. After reunification, the Qin Dynasty and ruled for use Legalism to maintain the unity of the situation at that time is of positive significance. Legalism history to rule on the use of not only the Qin dynasty, the Han regime remains after implementation of the "outer Jeunet Law" idea, but did not lead to the Han Dynasty soon perish. Legalism and hence, a comprehensive evaluation. People in the past thought that the effective Legalist's Theorey in the history of Qin Dynasty should be divided into two steps. It promoted the unification of Qin, and it was responsible for Qin's destruction. The destruction of Qin was a complicated issue. The writer does not think it is proper to impute Qin's destruction to the Legalist's Theorey. The unified Qin Dynasty used the legalist's theorey to govern the country, and it was positive to keep a unified situation at that time. Ruling the country with the Legalist's Theorey was not only Qin Dynasty's policy, after Han Dynasty, rulers still adopted the theorey "the Confucianism inside and the Legalist outside", and this policy did not make the Han Dynasty fall down soon. So the Legalists's, Theorey should be appraised completely
