In the first half of the twentieth century, human beings are harshly challenged in body and spirit. Confronted with such huge changes, all writers gave vent to their profound inner writings. Concerned with the human condition, André Malraux established the relationship between one's own body and the world through the senses of seeing, hearing and touching, describing the physical experience of the pluralité. And yet he understood such a relationship and experience through the disorder and deconstruction of the "être et néant" of war, rather than through how the negative reality of human condition encourages one to contemplate the positive reality of life. In this article, through the theories of Merleau-Ponty and other scholars, we will inquire the out-of-balance human condition and its new meaning that Malraux wanted to re-discover
