Social Relief Provided by Gentry in the Middle and Last Years of the Qing Dynasty: A Case Study of Fengyu Yizhuang in Suzhou
Abstract
Different from the ordinary meaning of the clan cemetery, the cemetery is in Suzhou Feng Yu Huan family donated the gentry, neighborhood-oriented comprehensive social relief agencies. Squire as a basis, trying to Ping Tiao, relief and promotion of agricultural production technologies and other means to maintain local social order and its traditional long-term interests.
