Abstract

Poetry, music as inseparable, the early lyrics of the basic features. Edge of this in mind, scholars tend to believe that the Confucian poetry, music is entirely consistent. In fact, this understanding is in itself is neither accurate, and thus led to the concept of future generations to understand the relevant literature to Confucian enlightenment biased literature and art as the ultimate goal, at this point, their poetry, music of course, the same concept; But the Confucian poetry, music, and the resulting position of each of the poems, music specific requirements, but not identical. To sum ​​up, music and ceremony with the same lofty position of the orthodox indoctrination, and the status of poetry is not the same level. Therefore, the music must Masatada, poetry can be colorful and rich. Since a basic feature of early poetry is its close relationship with music, scholars usually hold that Confucianist ideas on poetry and music are fully identical without distinction for each other. This causes a misunderstanding for the concept of literature however. Confucianism sees teaching as the ultimate purpose of literature and art, and its identical conceit with poetry and music is valid only on this limit. To the specific levels, the Confucianist ideas on poetry and music are both identical and different.
