Abstract
Does Marxism, as a well-knit and integrated scientific system, negate or affirm such "categories of value" as man's need, value, alienation, and emancipation? Or, in other words, are the scientific character of Marxism and its viewpoint of value exclusive of each other or are they of a unity? As we see it, Marxism is itself a theory integrating science with the viewpoint of value. Embodied in the indivisible integrity and unity ranging from its form to its substance is its integrity in both the early and latter stages and the unity of its scientific character and the veiwpoint of value. This article is designed to expound and prove the above proposition in the historical perspective of how the basic principles of Marxism have developed
