Distinct Stress Regulators in the CRL Family: Emerging Roles of F‐Box Proteins.Jiwon Hwang, Linda Lauinger & Peter Kaiser - forthcoming - Bioessays:e202400249.
Cullin‐RING ligases (CRLs) are central regulators of environmental and cellular stress responses, orchestrating diverse processes through the ubiquitination of substrate proteins. As modular complexes, CRLs employ substrate‐specific adaptors to target proteins for degradation and other ubiquitin‐mediated processes, enabling dynamic adaptation to environmental cues. Recent advances have highlighted the largest CRL subfamily SCF (Skp1‐cullin‐F‐box) in environmental sensing, a role historically underappreciated for SCF ubiquitin ligases. Notably, emerging evidence suggests that the F‐box domain, a 50‐amino acid motif traditionally recognized for mediating protein‐protein (...)

Multiview Graph Learning for Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises’ Credit Risk Assessment in Supply Chain Finance.Cong Wang, Fangyue Yu, Zaixu Zhang & Jian Zhang - 2021 - Complexity 2021:1-13.
In recent years, supply chain finance is exploited to solve the financing difficulties of small- and medium-sized enterprises. SME credit risk assessment is a critical part in the SCF system. The diffusion of SME credit risk may cause serious consequences, leading the whole supply chain finance system unstable and insecure. Compared with traditional credit risk assessment models, the supply chain relationship, credit condition of SME, and core enterprises should all be considered to rate SME credit risk in SCF. Traditional methods (...)

Poultry Farmers' Preference and use of Commercial and Self-compounded Feeds in Oyo Area of Oyo State, Nigeria.S. O. Apantaku, E. O. A. Oluwalana & O. A. Adepegba - 2006 - Agriculture and Human Values 23 (2):245-252.
This study investigated poultry farmers’ perceptions, preferences, and use of commercially compounded and self-compounded feeds in the Oyo Area of Oyo State, Nigeria. Data were collected from 120 poultry farmers through a structured interview schedule. The study concluded that poultry farmers prefer and use self-compounded feeds (SCF) instead of commercially compounded feeds (CCF) because (a) self-compounded feeds are of better quality than commercially compounded feeds, (b) there are no quality control measures in the poultry feed industry in the Oyo Area, (...)

    Expansions and Neostability in Model Theory.Christian D’Elbée - 2021 - Bulletin of Symbolic Logic 27 (2):216-217.
This thesis is concerned with the expansions of algebraic structures and their fit in Shelah’s classification landscape. The first part deals with the expansion of a theory by a random predicate for a substructure model of a reduct of the theory. Let T be a theory in a language $\mathcal {L}$. Let $T_0$ be a reduct of T. Let $\mathcal {L}_S = \mathcal {L}\cup \{S\}$, for S a new unary predicate symbol, and $T_S$ be the $\mathcal {L}_S$ -theory that axiomatises the (...)

The Error-Related Negativity Predicts Self-Control Failures in Daily Life.Rebecca Overmeyer, Julia Berghäuser, Raoul Dieterich, Max Wolff, Thomas Goschke & Tanja Endrass - 2021 - Frontiers in Human Neuroscience 14.
Adaptive behavior critically depends on performance monitoring, the ability to monitor action outcomes and the need to adapt behavior. PM-related brain activity has been linked to guiding decisions about whether action adaptation is warranted. The present study examined whether PM-related brain activity in a flanker task, as measured by electroencephalography, was associated with adaptive behavior in daily life. Specifically, we were interested in the employment of self-control, operationalized as self-control failures, and measured using ecological momentary assessment. Analyses were conducted using (...)
