Abstract

A partir das noções bachelardianas de Sonho e Devaneio, este artigo relaciona a crítica da psicanálise e da representação por Deleuze e Guattari com momentos-chave do arco de narrativas de ―Sandman‖. Reavaliando o papel do onírico em seu enredo, encontramos abertura para uma nova teoria do trágico nos quadrinhos-a possibilidade de encarar o Sonho como a circularidade do trágico, e o Devaneio como a linha de fuga para além dessa circularidade.From the Bachelard notions of Dream and Daydream, this article relates the critique of psychoanalysis and representation, by Deleuze and Guattari, with key moments in the narrative arc of “Sandman”. Reassessing the role of dream in his plot, we find the opening for a new theory of the tragic in the comics - the chance to face the Dream as the circularity of the tragic, and Daydream as the escape line beyond this circularity
