Abstract

The traditional problem of the antinomy between human freedom and the determinism suggested by science is a false problem that calls not for solution but for dissolution. This antinomy rests on a double mystification, which concerns both of the traditionnally contrasted terms: a mystification with respect to “determinism”, and a mystification with respect to “freedom”
