Abstract

Prendendo come punto di riferimento teorico l’opera del pensatore francese Julien Benda e in particolar modo la sua idea di intellettuale puro , questo articolo analizza il ruolo assunto dall’intelligentia come responsabile di produrre, formulare e trasmettere la legittimità, durante le crisi politiche che posero fine alle democrazie della Repubblica di Weimar e della Seconda Repubblica Spagnola.Taking as theoretical frame the work of the French thinker Julien Benda and, especially, his concept of «pure intellectual» , this paper analyses the role played by the intelligence, as responsible for producing, formulating and transmitting the legitimacy, in the political crisis which put an end to the democracies of the Weimar Repulic and of the Spanish Second Republic
