Abstract

L'auteure s'interroge sur la notion de conscience dans l'éthique spinoziste en parcourant l'ontologie, la théorie des affects et la théorie de la connaissance pour expliquer ce qui justifie conceptuellement et pratiquement le progrès humain. La causalité étant conçue circulairement, le pivot de la dynamique éthique se situe dans les affects, plus précisément dans la conscience de soi.
