Abstract

/// Among the different lines of transformation of the Kantian transcendentality, the author of the present article chooses to give special attention to the one of hermeneutical character. In this sense, the article pays special attention to the hermeneutical tendencies issued from the works of Dilthey, Heidegger and Gadamer. Which is the place of transcendentality in the hermeneutical phenomenology? Is it possible to speak of a hermeneutical transcendentalism, being it ontological or rather analytical-hermeneutical? The author of the article even asks about the possibility of a hermeneutical Kant. And the question is: In what sense is that possible within the Kantian philosophy? In order to give an answer to this question, the author expounds in the article the goal of developing a "critic of the hermeneutical reason" starting with Kant's Kritik der Urteilskraft, underlining the special function of the faculty of imagination and the importance of the idea of life, as well as the fecundity of a "critical hermeneutics" that may connect with the various elements from the practical philosophy of Kant, starting with the life-world and the pragmatic intersubjectivity.
