Abstract

L’articolo analizza il giudizio di Hannah Arendt sulla nascita dello stato di Israele e sull’identità politica ebraica, attraverso gli articoli pubblicati su “Aufbau” dal 1941 al 1966. Lo stato ebraico, in termini politici, è un prodotto europeo e di conseguenza l’identità politica ebraica è segnata da un aspetto patologico. È difficile individuare nel pensiero della Arendt una dimensione ‘normale’ dell’identità politica. È possibile parlare di un’autentica esperienza politica nello Stato di Israele: le comunità dei Kibbutzim. È possibile considerarle il tesoro politico dello Stato di Israele?The article analyses Hannah Arendt’s position about the birth of the Jewish State and her opinion on Jewish political identity drawing on the articles published on “Aufbau” from 1941 to 1966. The Jewish State, in political terms, is an European product and Jewish political identity is therefore characterized by a pathological aspect. It is difficult to find out a ‘normal’ dimension of political identity in Arendt’s thought. But there is an authentic political experience within the Jewish State: the communities of Kibbutzim. Is it possible to consider them the political treasure of the Jewish State?
