Pseudo-Lycophron, Alexandra 874–6 between Pindar and Horace

Abstract

This note argues that Ps.-Lyc. 874-6 alludes to Pind. Pyth. 6.7-14 and may, in turn, be pertinent as one of the intertexts of Hor. Carm. 3.30.1-5.
