Abstract
In this research the comparative analysis of the views of two eminent thinkers V. Solovyov and Berdyaev on the phenomenon of suicide is held. Marked comparison occurred within common philosophies both of Vladimir Soloviev and Berdyaev in four aspects: 1) the problem of free will and necessity, 2) external and internal contradictions of the phenomenon of suicide, and 3) the nature of selfish plants suicides, 4) life-giving the power of love, as the overcoming of selfishness. The study of each aspect led to the following conclusions. 1. Suicide as depriving yourself of life serves as an act of free will: realizing their own vices, a man holds court on himself, by committing suicide, claiming in their own abilities and freedom, overcoming the idea of God. In this lies the illusion of suicide in which a person does not win the world and conquered the world. 2. First, regarding the internal contradictions inherent in suicide, Soloviev said that the power and freedom, to some extent inherent in suicides are balanced at the same time, their diametrically opposite qualities - impotence and bondage. Second, Berdyaev concerning external contradictions inherent in suicide, noted that this phenomenon is at the same time in people pity and condemnation, the horror. Thus, volitional impulse, which is implemented in suicidal act, should be sent to overcome the difficulties of life, and that is what would have betrayed the greatness of the man who would continue to live, do not break any laws. 3. Berdyaev focused on the fact that the problem of suicide lies in its most concentrated «I» in itself. And suicide is the only way out of their own closed «I», a characteristic feature of which is the narrowing of the human mind that is the subject suicidal tendencies. The whole world for such a consciousness is concentrated at a single point that represents their own pain and suffering. This view of the suicides allowed N.Berdyaev define suicide as egocentric, which by virtue of their self-centeredness can not sacrifice, respectively - with their lives. In turn, Vladimir Solovyov main features of suicide as Berdyaev, seen in its focus in itself, in its evil alone. The main thing is that both thinkers have focused on the need to overcome selfishness, as the only way to save the suicides. To do this, thinkers felt the need to disclose to the meeting closed I God, to others that it is possible in the way of love. 4. Recognizing, in certain situations, the tragedy of Eros, both thinkers have focused on saving for the love of another person, which is overcome by self-interest and the opportunity to acquire the potency of life. The meaning of love is to be seen in the creation of the new man, which must be understood in the literal sense and figurative. It should be noted that both the Russian thinker extraordinary significance in the context of the study of the phenomenon of suicide provided the faith and religion that can give a person a real salvation.
