Abstract

This chapter discusses both the participatory artwork “Situations for Empathic Movement” as well as other artworks that fall under related themes around the impact climate change is having on animal behavior, health, migration, and habitat, particularly in the Canadian North, as well as human connection with this through real and online tracking of animals, and the urgency for artists to engage in this as a call to action.
