Abstract

Canon Law and Realism deals with some recent and very urgent problems in the Roman Catholic Church: sexual abuse of priests as covered by civil and canon law in the United States (J. Beal) and the role of the advocate in canonical procedures (R. Torfs). A third contribution by Ch. Papastathis analyses the problem of unity among and rivalry between Orthodox Churches.
