Abstract

Stemberg Wang root is an important representative of contemporary scholasticism one of the academics. He is the Institute of Philosophy, University of Leuven in Belgium professor, and this philosophy since World War II hospital the international situation will become the research center of Husserl's phenomenology . In being under the influence of the phenomenological method, Stemberg Wang root traces of not cutting the ingenious arrangements, the phenomenology of consciousness analysis method is introduced for the reinterpretation of Thomas Aquinas's theory of knowledge, to establish a seemingly phenomenology packaging knowledge on the system, but in reality the principle according to the knowledge of Thomas Aquinas to be carried forward, both above the ancients thought Shao sincere, but also the intricacies of modern office innovation, people love to read do not address the volume. Stemberg root in Wang's book "Theory of Knowledge", the main study area is divided into the theory of knowledge "analysis or description of the theory of knowledge" and "critical theory of knowledge" two parts, The logic of the study has already been partly due to the traditional self-contained logic, it will not repeat. This article focuses on the root according to Stemberg Wang, "Theory of Knowledge" the first part of the "analysis or description of the theory of knowledge" to be concentrated its main points, and tried on some of the important points and Thomas Aquinas in the original documents to be compared in order to demonstrate Wang Stemberg roots and embraced before and after Thomas Aquinas's theory of knowledge purport. Fernand Van Steenberghen was an important scholar of contemporary scholastics and a professor at the Institut supérieur de philosophie, Université catholique de Louvain, which became the Centre for Husserl's Phenomenology. Under the influence of phenomenological methodology, Van Steenberghen ingenuously brought the phenomenological methods of consciousness analysis into the reinterpretation of Thomas Aquinas's epistemology to build an epistemological system in the disguise of phenomenology, which actually is an development based on Thomas Aquinas's epistemology combining the ancient truthfulness and the modern creativity. In Van Steenberghen's Epistemology, the related study is divided into Épistémologie analytique ou descriptive and Épistémologie Critique, while the study of logic is omitted here, for traditional study of logic has made a system of its own. The focus of this paper is to make an outline of the first part of the book , 'Épistémologie analytique ou descriptive'', in contrast with Thomas Aquinas's original text
