Text by Philodemus accompanied by critical commentary, both on the text itself and on the process of reconstructing the dismembered papyrus roll on which it was found (inventoried as PHerc. 89/1301/1383). The subject of the book, despite the extreme fragmentary nature of the text, seems to focus on the physical nature of the divinity and its prerogatives, as well as on the possibility of knowing the divine in light of the Epicurean doctrine of images.
