El concepto de "conformidad a fines" (Zweckmäßigkeit) juega un papel central en el pensamiento de Kant, en la medida en que tiene que reconstruir el tránsito de la filosofía teórica a la filosofía práctica. Lo que la Crítica de la Razón pura ha separado "naturaleza y libertad" reclama su unión. La diferencia entre fenómeno y cosa en sí, entre lo sensible y lo suprasensible, entre lo que subyace a la experiencia sensible y lo que la trasciende, se convierte en algo (...) problemático. Esto se debe a que existen dos fenómenos que parecen contradecir la constitución objetiva del entendimiento: el fenómeno de lo bello y el fenómeno de lo vivo. Kant quiere reconciliar ambos fenómenos con el principio de la filosofía trascendental. Lo intenta introduciendo el concepto de ''conformidad a fines" como principio trascendental del juicio. La cuestión es saber qué consistencia tiene este intento. Para ello será necesario, en primer lugar, recordar en forma resumida el curso del pensamiento kantiano. Para ello, nos atendremos fundamentalmente a la segunda Introducción a la Crítica del juicio. En este texto se ponen especialmente de manifiesto las tensiones internas de este proyecto kantiano de solución. Posteriormente habrá que someter a un breve exámen el planteamiento inicial de Kant. Because the postmodern concept of pluralism shares with the totalitarian concept of unity (oppposed by it) the same presupposition -the anti-thesis of singularity and pluraility- the concept of pluralism is itself totalitarian. Whereas participative unity does not exclude diversity, but (...) includes it. The practical relevance of the concept of participation is that it is not subject to the dialectic of diversity negating unity and unity negating diversity, because wherein everything comes together is exactly wherin everything is distinguished. The Proslogion argument is often still considered as an ontological proof of the existence of God or as its predecessor. Doubtless this misinterpretation does not strike the root of the matter. Anselm requests to reflect upon what is and has always been present to reasoning in an unthematically way. Proslogion chapt. 2 reflects upon the difference between only being thought and being, and points out the characteristic feature of reasoning – to be the disclosure of being. Proslogion chapt. 3 reflects (...) upon the difference between being as being and its origin. Id quo nihil maius cogitari potest is not the highest thinkable (summum cogitabile) but what is showing itself while withdrawing from reasoning. (shrink)
