    Digitalization and Socio-Cultural Engineering.Grigorii Tulchinskii - 2018 - Russian Journal of Philosophical Sciences 6:100-108.
Modern digital technologies create new living conditions, but they themselves depend on the socio-cultural context of their development and use. In this regard, it seems important and necessary to talk about socio-cultural engineering (SCI) - the systematization of knowledge, practices of development, examination and implementation of projects related to the transformation of social reality and the socialization of the individual. SCI is able to create a new situation as a framework for integration, convergence and comprehension of these plans. In this (...)

“From Top Down” and “from Bottom Up” Factors of Inversions in Russian History.Grigorii L. Tulchinskii - 2019 - Russian Journal of Philosophical Sciences 62 (8):16-32.
Explanation of inversions in Russian history causes major conceptual problems. The traditionally used conceptual apparatus and its theoretical schemes does not seem to really “grasp” this reality, at best, it only describes the Russian reality to some extent. It simply fails to capture the nature and mechanisms that lie in the specifics of Russian society and its dynamics. Hence, there are widespread conclusions about “pathology,” historical “rut,” constant matrix, and endless reproduction of the “predetermined” characteristics of social life in Russia. (...)

    Humanities, Scientometrics, and Blockchain.Grigorii L. Tulchinskii - 2022 - Russian Journal of Philosophical Sciences 64 (7):123-136.
Modern humanities are in an ambiguous situation. Their organization is experiencing a radical challenge from the expansion of science-based assessment methods from modern business. We are talking about evaluating the results of researchers’ work on indicators from scientometrics. As a result, the evaluation subject is not the content of the research result, but their popularity and relevance to dominant views and approaches. The science organization turned upside down: it turns out not scientometrics for science, but rather science for the sake (...)

  9. The Soviet phenomenon: sources, implementation, results (Review of books: Nikolsky S.A. Soviet. Idea and practice. M.; St. Petersburg: Center for Humanitarian Initiatives, 2023. 392 p.; Nikolsky S.A. Soviet. Philosophical and literary analysis. M.; St. Petersburg : Center for Humanitarian Initiatives, 2024. 322 p.). [REVIEW]Grigorii Tulchinskii - forthcoming - Sotsium I Vlast.
The Soviet experience has attracted increasing interest in Russia and abroad over time. Understanding of this heritage is increasingly shifting from political and journalistic discussions to the plane of socio-philosophical and philosophical-anthropological analysis, which leads to modern socio-cultural practices. An example of such a detailed analysis is the work by S.A. Nikolsky, presented in two books, the contents of which successfully complement each other. The author consistently identifies the conditions for the emergence, formation and transformation of the Soviet experience. The (...)
