Haciendo uso de paquete informático Bibliometrix y de la Guía Prisma, se desarrolló un análisis bibliométrico de la literatura proveniente de la Web of Science sobre la competencia digital docente universitaria. Se delimita la investigación a través de tesauros de Eric. Se plantearon preguntas de investigación relacionadas con las fuentes de datos, los autores y las redes de colaboración. La investigación evidencia incrementos en la producción a partir del año 2019, la nacionalidad de los autores y la filiación de instituciones (...) resaltan a través de redes de investigaciones extendidas en Iberoamérica. Es necesario ampliar este estudio a otras bases científicas. (shrink)

John Henry Newman (1801-1890), quien ha ejercido una enorme influencia intelectual en el desarrollo de la teología católica contemporánea, es menos conocido por sus aportes a la filosofía. Indagando en su principal obra filosófica, Un ensayo para contribuir a una gramática del asentimiento, intentamos mostrar cómo los conceptos de aprehensión y asentimiento reflejan una teoría del conocimiento de carácter existencial y personal, en clara confrontación con el racionalismo imperante de su época. A través del examen de tales nociones, en el (...) entramado conceptual no fácil de la Grammar, pretendemos justificar que son muchos los elementos por los que Newman puede ser considerado plenamente un filósofo, en cuanto contribuye significativamente a una gnoseología y antropología personalistas. Como afirma Roland Vaschalde en Suivant Michel Henry (2022), el título se sirve de la expresión «siguiendo a» (suivant) tanto con el sentido de «según» como con el de «como se sigue de», con lo cual no pretende «repetir» a Henry, sino asimismo prolongar los horizontes de la fenomenología de la praxis viviente. Si, de acuerdo con la tópica henriana, dicho «seguir» en tanto uno de los haceres propios a mi «yo puedo» se funda en una «persecución», es decir, en (...) un «sufrirse» ya sea en la imposibilidad de apropiarse del otro, ya sea en tanto sentirse «perseguido», es decir, hallarse bajo la dominación del otro en la imposibilidad de liberarse del peso de mi propio yo, el cual a su vez se «goza» en el olvido de dicha imposibilidad en la ilusión trascendental de su «consecución» en tanto la coincidencia de mi yo con la vida, lo que queda por pensar es la posibilidad del «proseguir» en tanto la transformación de la propia topología. Y es dicho «proseguir» el cual impulsará nuestra lectura a través de las figuras de lo onírico, de lo poscolonial, de la psicopatología, del judaísmo y de la cartografía del cuerpo, en tanto lo «imperseguible» de la fenomenología henriana. La presente contribución indaga una dimensión de la intensa y compleja relación intelectual entre Henri de Lubac y Michel de Certeau, graficada en el paso del Corpus Mysticum a La fábula mística. En particular nos detenemos en una arista del proyecto intelectual de Lubac que busca desempolvar las potencialidades de la simbólica medieval para contrarrestar las nefastas derivas de la racionalidad moderna. Dicho proyecto se inspira en una ontología sacramental y en la centralidad de la allegoria in factis, heredada (...) del pensamiento de los Padres de la Iglesia. La reflexión que realiza Certeau en La fábula mística muestra ser no solo la continuación del Corpus Mysticum de Lubac, sino que de manera tangencial evidencia los límites del proyecto de su maestro, a través de su atención lúcida a la ruptura nominalista. Certeau muestra así que la emergencia de la mística moderna de los siglos xvi-xvii nace como respuesta al desaplazamiento de la allegoria in factis a la allegoria in verbis, que estaría a la raíz de la desontologización del lenguaje y del cisma entre la experiencia espiritual y la teología. La cuestión planteada por Henri Bergson es ¿por qué la profundidad de la percepción y la continuidad del tiempo que experimentamos en nosotros es confinada y delimitada por signos, símbolos o ideas que utilizamos para representar el mundo que percibimos? Su hipótesis es que la filosofía y la ciencia han debilitado a través de su historia el poder de la corriente vital representada por el tiempo y la memoria. El objetivo de Henri Bergson es defender la necesidad de (...) volver a una metafísica que una en la misma durée el tiempo eterno y el fluir del tiempo vital y corporal. Su metodología consiste en revisar la historia de la idea de tiempo y la concepción de los filósofos sobre ella, así como su resistencia a descubrir la duración por debajo de esta idea de tiempo. When we go back-by means of the epoché of the world, following Michel Henry-towards the originary “how” of all manifestation, we stumble once and again upon the phenomenological situation of the body. The body is, then that originary hinge by means of which I manifest world in a continuous resistance. It will be, as well, within my own body where I am always aware of oneself, according to my own affection. Thus, the material condition of the body will be that (...) of my internal body, or subjective body-as Henry initially read in Maine de Biran-or that of my flesh, as Henry himself would later say. Bearing all this in mind, the intermediate situation of one’s own affection, of this body of mine, with regard to the world and the videor, turns out to be an appropriate medium to attempt a preliminary study of the problematic situation of the internal time of affection. For this purpose, we shall revise the analysis offered by Michel Henry in Material Phenomenology and in Incarnation, indicating possible aporias, as well as alternatives to these last ones.Cuando, siguiendo a Michel Henry, retrocedemos en una epoché hacia el “cómo” originario de toda manifestación, tropezamos una y otra vez con la situación fenomenológica del cuerpo. El cuerpo es, pues, esta bisagra originaria a través de la cual yo manifiesto el mundo en continua resistencia. También será dentro del propio cuerpo donde uno será siempre autoconsciente, de acuerdo con la propia afección. Por eso, la condición material del cuerpo será la de mi cuerpo interior o cuerpo subjetivo, de acuerdo con la lectura inicial que Henry hace de Maine de Biran; o de mi carne, como dirá el mismo Henry más tarde. Teniendo en cuenta todo ello, la situación intermedia, situación de la afección propia y la de mi cuerpo en relación con el mundo y el videor, resulta ser un medio apropiado para emprender un estudio preliminar de la problemática situación del tiempo interno de la afección. Para ello, revisaremos el análisis que Michel Henry ofrece en Material Phenomenology y en Incarnation, indicando las posibles aporías, así como posibles alternativas. (shrink)

Indecisão plena de promessas: imagens da vida e da infância na filosofia de Henri Bergson Resumo: Numa passagem da obra Évolution Créatrice, Bergson recupera a imagem da criança para afirmar que a natureza viva opera através de tendências divergentes. Apesar de não ter desenvolvido um pensamento de pendor educacional, encontram-se na obra bergsoniana referências que, por um lado, recuperam a dimensão criativa e criadora da infância e, por outro, acentuam a forma infantil dos movimentos do élan vital. Estas referências (...) fazem parte da imagética do autor, mostrando como o seu pensamento sugestiona leituras ímpares. O convite para cruzar a imagem da vida como infância com a imagem da infância como vida revela-se, assim, sugestivo para repensar o que nos habita como constitutivamente outro: a criança que fomos e a natureza que somos. E será através da imagem – como forma de contacto dinâmico com o real – que poderemos encontrar algumas respostas para a sugestão bergsoniana de se promover nas escolas um conhecimento infantil.Palavras-chave: infância; criança; natureza; imagem; Bergson. Indecision charged with promise: Images of life and childhood in Henri Bergson’s philosophy: In a passage in his Évolution Créatrice, Bergson reclaims the image of the child to argue that living nature works through divergent tendencies. Although Bergson’s work doesn’t focus specifically on education, it does contain references that, on the one hand, reclaim the creative and creating nature of childhood, while on the other hand accentuating the childlike nature of élan vital’s movements. These references are part of Bergson’s repertoire of imagery and demonstrate how his thought evokes uneven readings. The invitation to cross the image of life as childhood with that of childhood as life ultimately evokes a rethinking of what inhabits us as constitutively other: the child we were and the nature we are. And it is through the notion of image – as a form of dynamic contact with reality – that we will find some answers for Bergson’s suggestion that schools promote a childlike knowledge.Key-words: childhood; child; nature; image; Bergson. La filosofía bergsoniana implica, para algunos, un intento de superación de la condición humana. En lo que sigue, plantearemos una serie de cuestiones en torno a las diversas escenas de superación de dicha condición que podemos encontrar en algunos textos de Bergson. La superación no sería una, sino que operaría en diversos niveles. Esos diversos niveles estarán ligados a las nociones de obra, simpatía, misticismo y fraternidad. En primer lugar, revisaremos la cuestión de la constitución del corpus Bergson como superación (...) de la escritura del supuesto autor. En segundo lugar, la filosofía como superación de la condición humana a través de la intuición y la simpatía. En tercer lugar, la filosofía puede ser considerada como superación de la condición humana a través del misticismo o de la figura del místico. Por último, en cuarto lugar, Bergson plantea que la fraternidad es la emoción que impulsa el rebasamiento de los lineamientos naturales de la vida en sociedad. (shrink)

A través del análisis del concepto de duración a lo largo de la filosofía de Henri Bergson, se propone una particular filosofía del tiempo como modelo de temporalidad intensiva, vivida, heterogénea y antitética de toda explicación mecanicista, en aras de situar dicha filosofía del tiempo en una necesaria interlocución con el planteamiento teórico acerca del tiempo desde un punto de vista fenomenológico. Para ello, nos serviremos de nociones claves del pensamiento de Henri Bergson, como son: memoria intuición o (...) vida, en su necesaria interrelación con el fenómeno de la duración, que dará cuenta de la coherencia interna del pensamiento bergsoniano y permitirá esclarecer mejor el carácter intensivo de la temporalidad. Die Entwicklungsgeschichte des Lebens in all ihrer Lückenhaftigkeit läßt doch schon ersehen, wie sich der Intellekt kraft ununterbrochenen Fortschritts in aufsteigender Linie, über die Reihe der Wirbeltiere hin bis zum Menschen, herausgebildet hat. Sie zeigt uns in der Fähigkeit des Verstehens einen Ausläufer der Fähigkeit des Handelns, eine immer schärfere, immer mehrgliedrigere, immer geschmeidigere Anpassung des Lebewesens an die gegebenen Existenzbedingungen. Woraus zu folgern wäre, daß unser Intellekt im engeren Sinn des Worts dazu bestimmt sei, die vollkommene Verwebung unseres Körpers (...) in seine Umgebung zu sichern, die Beziehungen der äußeren Dinge aufeinander vorzustellen, kurz: dazu, die Materie zu denken. This paper assesses the prospects of combining the distinctive strengths of the two major educational research programs of critical thinking and critical pedagogy—or, described more accurately, overcoming their shared limitations—in a new and superior educational objective called criticality. Several recent proposals explore the possibilities of engaging in bridge-building between these camps. The plan is that the distinctive strengths of these paradigms—the logical and epistemological precision of critical thinking together with the socio-political consciousness of critical pedagogy—could complement each other, while the (...) associated adjustments to the overall picture could also help us to address their shared shortcomings. This gives us a new and more grounded educational goal of criticality, as suggested and developed independently by a growing number of thinkers. This article joins the ongoing conversation but provides a more counterreactionary tone by striving to vindicate the traditional mainstream conception of critical thinking. I maintain that despite their admirable ambitions, the various expressions of criticality do not succeed in combining the best parts of critical thinking and critical pedagogy, since on a deep metatheoretical level these two paradigms have irreconcilable core principles. First, I argue that the depiction of the failures of critical thinking used to motivate criticality is to a large degree a straw man: in actuality, the existing conceptualization of critical thinking can already do the desired extra socio-political educational work, so there really is no pressing need for the suggested augmentations. Second, the traditional worries of indoctrination, which have followed critical pedagogy since the inception of this educational movement, still remain unresolved within criticality. The only way to address this concern successfully is to lean on critical thinking as the core of our educational theory, bringing us right back to where we started. (shrink)

The possibility of employing human enhancement interventions to aid in future space missions has been gaining attention lately. These possibilities have included one of the more controversial kinds of enhancements: biomedical moral enhancement. However, the discussion has thus far remained on a rather abstract level. In this paper we further this conversation by looking more closely at what type of interventions with what sort of effects we should expect when we are talking about biomedical moral enhancements. We suggest that a (...) more grounded way to picture moral enhancement, at least in the near term, is to envision a form of cognitive enhancement that also provides some moral benefits by heightening the enhanced person's capability for acting according to their own subjective moral code. While this concept of moral adherence enhancement also has relevance for the moral enhancement discussion more widely, in this paper we apply it specifically in the context of space missions. We argue that there are weighty reasons to consider making biomedical enhancements of the proposed kind a mandatory feature of early-phase long-distance space travel because these missions are high-stakes in nature and take place in an environment where the enhancement could be seen as conferring important advantages while negating many of the traditional arguments weighed against it. One of the requirements in the Dutch regulation for euthanasia and assisted suicide is that the doctor must be satisfied ‘that the patient's suffering is unbearable, and that there is no prospect of improvement.’ In the notorious Chabot case, a psychiatrist assisted a 50 year old woman in suicide, although she did not suffer from any somatic disease, nor strictly speaking from any psychiatric condition. In Seduced by Death, Herbert Hendin concluded that apparently the Dutch regulation now allows physicians to (...) assist anyone in suicide simply because he or she is unhappy.In this paper, I reject Hendin's conclusion and in particular his description of Mrs Boomsma as someone who was ‘simply unhappy.’ After a detailed narration of her lifestory, I turn to the American philosopher Harry Frankfurt's account of volitional incapacity and love for a more accurate characterization of her suffering. Having been through what she had, she could only go on living as another person than the one she had been when she was a happy mother. That would have violated her integrity, and that she could not bring herself to do. (shrink)

Partout ou (...) le logos nous porte, c'est la qu'il faut aller, tel en serait le mot d'ordre, mais avec la precision qu'a l'articulation du mythique et du theorique, du tragique et du philosohique, et plus profondement de la deraison et du logos, le rationalisme platonicien n'est fait que de raison. This review of Turner’s “Computational Artifacts” focuses on one of the key novelties of the book, namely the proposal to understand the nature of computer programs as a “trinity” of specification, symbolic program, and physical process, replacing the traditional dualist views of programs as functional/structural or as symbolic/physical. This trinitarian view is found to be robust and helpful to solve typical issues of dualist views. Drawing comparisons with Simon’s view of the artifact as an interface, the author suggests that this (...) trinitarian view may characterize not only computational artifacts but also artifacts in general. One ambiguity is however noticed on the denotation of what Turner actually calls the “physical process.”. (shrink)

RésuméNous introduisons la notion de structure algébrique dynamique, inspirée de l'évaluation dynamique et de la théorie des modèles. Nous montrons comment cette notion constructive permet une relecture de la théorie d'Artin-Schreier, avec la modification capitale que le résultat final est alors établi de manière constructive. Nous pensons que ce que nous avons réalisé ici sur un cas d'école peut être généralisé à des parties significatives de l'algèbre classique, et est donc une contribution à la réalisation du programme de Hilbert pour (...) l'algèbre classique.We introduce the notion of “Dynamic Algebraic Structure” inspired by Dynamic Evaluation and Model Theory. We show that this constructive notion allows a rereading of the Artin-Schreier-Robinson solution for the 17th Hilbert Problem. So, once we know how to reread the proofs, this kind of abstract theory contains an algorithm which computes the concrete result . Our method gives a constructive semantic for certain parts of abstract classical mathematics.The idea is the following: replace the classical algebraic structures “constructed” by Choice and Principle of Third Excluded Middle , by DAS and dynamic evaluations of these DAS. Then TEM is replaced by construction of branching in the trees of dynamic evaluation of the DAS. If Choice is used in the form of Godel completeness theorem, it is not really necessary to use it for obtaining concrete results: in DAS, Choice is simply replaced by … nothing!. This is because the classical proof is by contradiction: “if there were not a sum of squares then some formal theory would admit a pathological model”. The constructive reasoning is more direct: since the pathological theory proves 0 = 1 we know how to construct the sum of squares … and classical models have disappeared in the proof. They are replaced by dynamic evaluations of DAS. We think that we have given, for an academic example, a new method, realizing a kind of Hilbert Program for significant parts of classical algebra.
