Senior high school is known to be part of the newly implemented K-12 program in the Philippines' educational system. Hence, this program added two years to the academic learning program of students, which mainly focuses on different theoretical and vocational strands that aim to prepare and fully furnish the students for education and employment in the future. Due to adjustments to new online learning amidst the pandemic, students begin to experience various challenges, primarily social support and mental well-being. Hence, this (...)

Skyrmions: A Great Finishing Touch to Classical Newtonian Philosophy.Maricel Agop & Nicolae Mazilu (eds.) - 2011 - Nova Science Publisher.
This book continues the classical Newtonian theory in both its initial spirit and the spirit of general relativity. It throws a bridge between classical Newtonian theory of forces and some contemporary concepts of the atomic, nuclear and particle theories. This book takes the Skyrme theory of nuclear matter mainly from the point of view that it allows the initial analogy between the atomic edifice and the solar system in all details. Especially important is the detail that the atomic nucleus works (...)

    (1 other version)El altar de júpiter pistor (ov. Fast. 6.349-394): Un nuevo espacio literario.Maricel Radiminski - 2017 - Argos 40 (2):47-68.

  5. Good Governance, Social Quality, and Active Citizenship: Gawad Kalinga in the Philippines.Alex B. Brillantes & Maricel T. Fernandez - 2011 - International Journal of Social Quality 1 (2):19-30.
This article discusses how the Gawad Kalinga movement in the Philippines has operationalized good governance among its communities. This movement has not only provided opportunities for collaboration and cooperation between and among the three major governance actors, governments, business, and civil society, but more important, provided a framework for active citizen engagement in the process of improving their quality of life. Citizen participation is central not only in the theory of social quality but also in good governance. The paper argues (...)

An Exercise in a Transdisciplinary Approach for New Knowledge Paradigms.Irina Crumpei, Alina Gavriluţ, Maricel Agop & Gabriel Crumpei - 2014 - Human and Social Studies 3 (3):114-143.
In this paper, we aim at an exercise that is transdisciplinary, involving science and religion, and interdisciplinary, involving disciplines and theories which appeared in the second half of the 20th century. The latter required the reformulation of quantum mechanics theories starting with the beginning of the century, based on the substance-energy-information triangle. We focus on information and we also attempt a transdisciplinary approach to the imaginary from a psychological - physical - mathematical perspective, but the religious perspectives find their place (...)

New Mathematical and Theoretical Foundation in Human Brain Research. An interdisciplinarity approach in a transdisciplinary world.Ioana Grecu, Lucian Negură, Irina Crumpe, Maricel Agop, Alina Gavriluț & Gabriel Crumpei - 2014 - Human and Social Studies 3 (1):45-58.
From the theoretical discussions, transdisciplinarity starts to have practical consequences in the development of programs that include consortia of universities, bringing together a large variety of professionnals who set ambitious goals, such as the Human Genome Project in the past decade, and also the Human Brain Project for this decade. We intend to present an approach in the spirit of the new paradigms of knowledge in the Human Brain Project generous program started earlier this year in Europe. A possible transdisciplinary (...)

  13. The Possibility of Coherentism and the Stringency of Ceteris Paribus Conditions.Jonah N. Schupbach - 2015 - Theoria: Revista de Teoría, Historia y Fundamentos de la Ciencia 30 (1):43.
In, I put forward a “possibility result” for Bayesian Coherentism, showing that there exist plausible sets of ceteris paribus conditions that imply that coherence is truth-conducive. Against this result, Schubert argues that the specific ceteris paribus conditions I consider are “jointly inconsistent”. In this article, I prove to the contrary that these conditions can consistently be enforced while allowing degrees of coherence to vary. Next, I consider a related criticism, inspired by Olsson’s constraints on ceteris paribus conditions. This leads to (...)
