Abstract

We investigate the basic principles and approaches of studying the problem of spiritual existence, finding spirituality is recognized as a factor in the survival of humanity, the condition of the harmonious development of human society in the near and distant future. The characteristic of the highest values of speakers landmarks personality realizing itself in the spiritual dimension of life, to show their importance for the self-determination of the individual. It is disclosed that the lack of a modern discourse of a unified, holistic concept of spirituality is explained by mixing problem of the essence of spirituality with the problems of its specifications are made through the concept of «spiritual values», «intellectual production», which manifest different aspects of spirituality. It is shown that the spiritual being is one of the fundamental philosophical concepts of particular importance to study the characteristics of the formation and development of a harmonious personality, her self-realization. Purpose of the article – to study the characteristics of the personality in the field of spiritual life for what is necessary to: identify and analyze the basic principles and approaches to the study of the problems of spiritual life; to characterize the highest values of speakers landmarks person realizing himself in the spiritual dimension of life, to show their importance for the self-determination of the individual. Conclusions. The specific character of the spiritual life as a special dimension of the life process, characterized by the aspiration of the individual to the universal values, the need for creative selforientation to the top of the transcendental reality. The spiritual being is incomplete without having a final result, outcome, the process by which a person is revealed as being based on the infinite selfcreation and improvement, the ability to continuously expand the boundaries of spiritual existence. We have shown that in the spiritual dimension of being the supreme guide, determines the direction of the spiritual development of the individual, are the human values.
