As such, throughout its history, the Church has always found the pastoral and juridical means to care for the good of the faithful. With the Apostolic Construction Anglicanorum coetibus, promulgated on 4 November 2009, the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, provided for the establishment of Personal Ordinariates through which Anglican faithful may enter, even in a corporate manner, into full communion with the (...) Catholic Church. On that same date, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith published Complementary Norms relating to such Ordinariates. In conformity with what is established in Art, I and 1 and 2 of the Apostolic Coinstitution Anglicanorum coetibus, having received requests from a considerable number of Anglican faithful, and having consulted with the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. RESUMO O artigo trata da apropriação fenomenológica das epístolas aos Tessalonicenses levada a termo por Martin Heidegger em sua prelação do semestre de inverno de 1920-1921 intitulada “Introdução à Fenomenologia da Religião”, quando era assistente de Edmund Husserl na Universidade de Freiburg. A preleção foi publicada pela primeira vez no quadro da Edição Integral das obras de Heidegger em 1995. No artigo considerarei especialmente a noção de temporalidade escatológica a partir da análise do fenômeno cristão da παρoυσíα fora do (...) contexto do sercrente e de sua consequente fundamentação teológica. Portanto, a proposta do presente estudo sobre o jovem Heidegger consistirá, em primeiro lugar, no “status quaestionis” da pesquisa sobre a referida preleção acadêmica e sua relação com o Denkweg de Heidegger. Em segundo lugar, destacarei a peculiaridade da leitura das epístolas de Paulo no contexto de uma abordagem fenomenológica a partir do conceito de “pré-compreensão” no sentido de que há um sentido a ser procurado em um fenômeno sem ainda determiná-lo teoricamente. Esta categoria metodológica indica um horizonte para o qual é preciso avançar realizando uma metamorfose do si. Em terceiro lugar, examinarei o §26 da segunda parte da mesma preleção acadêmica que versa sobre a “expectativa da parusia” no Cristianismo das Origens para explicitar especialmente as conexões entre historicidade e modalidade da vida autenticamente vivida, bem como a estrutura da temporalidade vivida pelo Cristianismo das origens: “a experiência fática da vida é histórica. A religiosidade cristã vive a temporalidade como tal”. ABSTRACT The article deals with the phenomenological appropriation of the epistles to the Thessalonians carried out by Martin Heidegger in his lecture of the winter semester of 1920-1921 entitled "Introduction to the Phenomenology of Religion", when he was assistant to Edmund Husserl at the University of Freiburg. The lecture was first published in the context of the Integral Edition of Heidegger's works in 1995. In the article, I will especially consider the notion of eschatological temporality from the analysis of the Christian phenomenon of the παρoυσíα outside the context of the believer and its consequent theological foundation. Therefore, the proposal of the present study on the young Heidegger will consist, in first place, in the "status quaestionis" of the research on the said academic lecture and its relation with the Denkweg of Heidegger. In second place, I will highlight the peculiarity of the reading of Paul's epistles in the context of a phenomenological approach from the concept of "pre-comprehension" in the sense that there is a meaning to be sought in a phenomenon without yet determining it theoretically. This methodological category indicates a horizon for which one must advance by performing a metamorphosis of the self. In third place, I shall examine § 26 of the second part of the same academic lecture dealing with the "expectation of the parusia" in Christianity of Origins in order to explicate especially the connections between historicity and modality of an authentically lived life, as well as the structure of temporality experienced by Christianity of the origins: "the factual experience of life is historical. Resumo: Este artigo analisa o problema de determinar o sujeito político do feminismo, uma vez que a categoria “mulher” passa a ser questionada e interpretada de diferentes formas, na teoria feminista contemporânea. Após apresentar brevemente as críticas ao essencialismo, por parte de autoras bastante influentes do Norte global, investigam-se os argumentos de pensadoras que defendem um viés descolonial. Sustenta-se que a perspectiva descolonial precisa ser levada em consideração, no momento de buscar categorias de análise adequadas ao movimento feminista, no (...) contexto do Sul global, respeitando-se suas particularidades históricas e sociopolíticas.: This paper analyses the problem of determining who constitutes the feminist political subject, since the contemporary feminist theory inquires the existence of “woman” as a category and interprets it in different ways. First, I briefly introduce the critiques to essentialism by influential authors from the Global North, then I investigate the arguments from thinkers who advocate a decolonial point of view. I sustain that we must take the decolonial perspective into consideration, which is crucial to find categories of analysis apropriate to the feminist movement in the context of the Global South, in order to respect its historical and socio-political particularities. In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:AUTHORITY, PUBLIC DISSENT AND THE NATURE OF THEOLOGICAL THINKING IN A RECENT analysis of the Catholic scene, Lutheran Richard John Neuhaus described the controversy over authority and dissent in the Catholic Church as " theologically debased and ecumenically sterile." My own reading of the literature on dissent inclines me to concur with the substance of this judgment. Broad historical, cultural, and theological contexts have inevitably been neglected as the (...) issues raised by public dissent have come to be narrowly conceived in terms of academic policy and ecclesisastical law and discipline. The objective of this paper is to explore the larger theological context of the topic of public dissent and in particular to consider Neuhruus' judgment that the "present Roman Catholic preoccupation with church authority is... theologically debased because it fixes attention not upon the truth claims derived from God's self-revelation but upon who is authorized to set the rules for addressing such truths, if indeed they are truths." 1 A Perspective on the Current Debate The attitude of " dissent " as such would normally be expected to occupy only a subordinate place in accounts of the nature of theological thinking. Intellectual inquiries are usually undertaken with a view to affirmation and oonstruction rather than critique and dissent. Despite the volume of literature which it has spawned, the current debate in fact reflects this expectation. O presente artigo se propõe a examinar criticamente o atual e dominante paradigma político, que aqui definiremos como terrorismo legal de Estado. Para tanto, fez-se necessário o recurso a três autores cujas reflexões buscam compreender a sua natureza e os seus principais modos de atuação, a saber, o filósofo italiano Giorgio Agambem, o jurista argentino Raúl Zaffaroni e o sociólogo francês Loic Wacquant. A partir das obras agambenianas Homo Sacer. O poder soberano e a vida nua I e Estado de (...) Exceção, elucidaremos o conceito de estado de exceção e o processo que, ao transformá-lo em prática permanente, marcou o ingresso definitivo do Estado na lógica do terrorismo. We may have different ways of defining the nature of philosophy. One view would take philosophy to be a system of knowledge just like science; only it is a more comprehensive system that includes all science, or rather, it is a synthetic system of knowledge. Another view would take philosophy to be just a reflective and critical attitude. It purports to reflect on methods, postulates, axioms, and fundamental concepts that science relies on to build its knowledge in order to clarify (...) other scientific concepts and principles and to understand the limit of each science and of scientific knowledge itself so that they will not be wrongly applied to areas where they do not apply. Still another view would take philosophy to be that which helps us to understand the universe and human life, to have wisdom to penetrate into history, culture, and concrete affairs, and to give us direction for our actions. Of these three, the first view takes philosophy to be an activity for pursuing knowledge, the second view takes philosophy to be an activity for understanding our knowledge, and the third view takes philosophy to be an activity that starts with knowledge in order to achieve wisdom, which is above and beyond knowledge. Frolov, editor-in-chief of Voprosy filosofii, stated that discussing problems of this type today, the task lies not so much in emphasizing their general and traditional aspects but in finding a scientific and practical solution to new problems of interaction of man and nature that can now be solved only on a global scale. Furthermore, he observed that discussion of these problems as questions of morality, in terms of pessimistic or optimistic evaluation, is very important (...) but certainly entirely inadequate. Not only social and philosophical but many political conclusions follow from a discussion of problems of interaction between man and nature. Investigation and solution of these problems, which require concrete scientific and practical approaches, may facilitate the development of such policies as peaceful coexistence, strengthening of neighborly treaty relations, and so forth. Solving these problems will help peoples come closer together and contribute to the firmer establishment of peace throughout the world. (shrink)

The aim of the paper is to analyze the consequences of R. Rorty’s pragmatic cum linguistic turn for the understanding of natural and human sciences. The author analyzes first this turn and tries to show that it represents an intersubjectivist type of antirealism. Then he deals with Rorty’s approach to hermeneutics and his understanding of its place in natural and human sciences. Finally, he discusses the consequences of Rorty’s intersubjectivist antirealism for human sciences and tries to show that, on one (...) hand, it represents the philosophical basis of the so-called idea-lism of interpretative human science and on the other hand, it enables us to see the latter’s foundations from a new, fresh perspective. Socrates' analogy between the city and the soul in the Republic is a crucial part of the dialogue, since it forms the basis for the interlocutors' definition of justice. Critics allege that there are structural inconsistencies between the city and the soul, and that even if they were somehow structurally analogous, they are nevertheless different. Why, then, would one expect that justice in one would be enlightening for the discovery of justice in the other? This paper examines the passages in (...) which the analogy is developed and finds that Socrates' claims regarding similarities between the city and the soul are not as far-fetched as critics assert. Criticisms of the analogy are shown to be misunderstandings arising from an unwillingness to accept the political implications of Socrates' plan. Ultimately, the analogy rests on important structural similarities between the city and the soul, and is a powerful tool towards an understanding of the individual, of the city and of justice.
