Estudios sobre Walter Benjamin", de varios autores, más que un libro es un homenaje a la obra de este gran pensador nominado como uno de los más valiosos e influyentes escritores de la humanidad. Walter Benjamin dejó por escrito miles de páginas que trataban de todo lo posible, hablando desde su infancia hasta el cambio que produjo la fotografía en el mundo artístico. Estos textos tienen el propósito de acercar al lector a este magnífico mundo del pensamiento (...) de Walter Benjamin. Los autores van entrelazando las ideas de este filósofo con sus seguidores más lucidos del ámbito de las humanidades, y así construyen un collage de la obra de Walter Benjamin, que por un lado nos acerca a su comprensión de los conceptos básicos, como por ejemplo, el de la historia y, en cambio, por otro establecen semejanzas entre sus escritos y el arte de Andy Warhol o Roberto Bolaño. El propósito de la “Dialéctica trascendental” es exponer cómo la razón es el origen de la ilusión trascendental, para prevenir los errores que puedan derivarse de ella. Sin embargo, en el “Apéndice”, Kant sostiene que la razón no sólo tiene este aspecto negativo o problemático, también es una facultad que le proporciona al entendimiento la meta de lograr una unidad sistemática de todo conocimiento. En el presente texto abordaré dos preocupaciones interpretativas en torno al “Apéndice”. La primera cuestiona si Kant (...) se contradice a sí mismo en esta sección al plantear que el principio de unidad sistemática es, simultáneamente, subjetivo y objetivo. La segunda reflexiona si se trata de una sección que contradice las tesis centrales de la “Analítica trascendental”, al presentar una nueva condición necesaria para el conocimiento, más allá de las establecidas por el entendimiento y la sensibilidad. EL LIBRO QUE PRESENTAMOS nace a partir de un proyecto de investigación y cooperación financiado por la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo, Apoyo a la formación de formadores y de investigadores en educación en Centroamérica, en el campo de la Teoría de la Educación. El objetivo final del proyecto ha sido la creación de un Grupo Internacional de investigación en temas de Teoría de la Educación, formado por profesores de Facultades de Educación de Universidades centroamericanas y españolas. (...) Entre las numerosas tareas que se han encomendado a dicho grupo una de ellas ha sido la de elaborar un texto de Teoría de la Educación para uso de estudiantes de grado. Todos los miembros del grupo son profesores universitarios y, por lo mismo, se ven implicados en la necesidad de elaborar disciplinas académicas que presenten y organicen, de manera sistemática, campos de contenidos actualizados. Todos esos campos de conocimiento se refieren a problemas que la educación y la formación presentan y que la época histórica resalta como particularmente relevantes. Pero, también, cada uno de ellos matiza la consideración de esos problemas desde las necesidades de los colectivos humanos con los que se encuentra comprometido. Son esas necesidades las que proporcionan la perspectiva desde la que llevamos a cabo nuestros estudios e investigaciones que, a su vez, suponen el capital en base al cual cooperar con el grupo en la transferencia de conocimiento y de resultados desde un punto de vista global y, más particularmente, en la elaboración de este texto. De este modo, el grupo, y el texto que presentamos, ha quedado aglutinado desde el interés común por la investigación y la reflexión sobre las cuestiones que la formación de los seres humanos plantea en los diferentes contextos de actividad pedagógica en los que cada uno de ellos se ve profesional y académicamente envuelto. Desde cada uno de esos contextos, afloran preguntas que enriquecen la perspectiva global desde la que interpretar los fenómenos educativos. No tomar en consideración las sensibilidades que alimentan los contextos particulares de formación puede llevar a que el tópico de la globalidad, derivado de las nuevas formas de transferencia de información, potencialmente valiosas, induzca formas de exclusión, intelectual y socialmente perniciosas. Porque podría llevar a tratar de construir una teoría general sobre la educación en la que se marginan situaciones reales, historias formativas que, por quedar excluidas, parcializan la perspectiva general, desde la que la formación de los seres humanos debe ser interpretada, por responsabilidad cognitiva. Pero, también las urgencias reflexivas y prácticas locales pueden justificar dejar de lado problemas que empobrecen el horizonte intelectual de la investigación posible y el estudio posible. Dos de estas sensibilidades quedaron explícitas desde el principio en el seno del grupo y marcan el devenir del texto. La primera se ponía de manifiesto desde países latinoamericanos donde la lucha contra el analfabetismo, la elevación cultural de la población adulta, constituye un objetivo prioritario en vistas al desarrollo cultural y social de la población; desde ellos, la movilización cultural de la comunidad resaltaba la importancia de las políticas educativas denominadas informales y el poliformismo necesario de los sistemas de acreditación cultural. Ello implica, para la reflexión teórica global sobre la formación, que el concepto de educación informal adquiere una relevancia teórica que todavía no ha sido asumida suficientemente, aunque se haya generalizado el concepto de educación a lo largo de la vida. Así como la urgencia general de reconsiderar globalmente las formas de acreditación cultural y la necesidad de mecanismos flexibles de reincorporación a los sistemas formales. Globalmente se advierte la importancia del concepto de cultura sostenible, porque en todos los países se presentan graves problemas culturales, de una u otra naturaleza, que sobrepasan la capacidad de los sistemas formales, mostrando que la formación, en vistas al comportamiento participativo y responsable, debe ser asumida como compromiso de toda la Comunidad, como un carácter de la ciudadanía madura. Esto lleva a reinterpretar y expandir el propio concepto de políticas culturales y a expandir el concepto de gobernabilidad; porque la promoción de la calidad de vida de las comunidades no depende únicamente de las políticas económicas, dado que globalmente no pueden garantizar la calidad moral del compromiso ciudadano. La segunda sensibilidad se ponía de manifiesto desde los miembros del grupo que trabajan en entornos de discapacidad o en entornos vitales vulnerados: disminuidos físicos o mentales, sujetos que han padecido maltrato o condicionados por la enfermedad. Si la formación es un requerimiento vital de todos los seres humanos, ese requerimiento donde mejor refleja su urgencia es precisamenteen las situaciones en las que queda más aparente su vulneración; por limitaciones históricas, biológicas o sociales. Son esas situaciones las que muestran, descarnadamente, que la formación compromete el proceso general de la humanización posible de cada ser humano. Estas situaciones deben incorporarse a la perspectiva antropológica general sobre la educación, desde el principio y por principio. Son esas situaciones, también, las que ilustran, por principio, que el proceso de formación forma parte del género de las acciones humanitarias, cuya consideración es indispensable para un proceso de humanización sostenible. Y son esas situaciones, marginadas o escamoteadas en la reflexión global, y que, de una u otra manera, se entreveran en todos los grupos humanos, en todas las culturas, en todos los territorios, las que delatan los puntos críticos por los que la sensibilidad moral detecta los aspectos insostenibles de la cultura, porque desvelan la vulnerabilidad y la vulneración de la condición humana. Profundizar en las razones y en los argumentos que justifican en la condición humana la plasticidad, que hace posible la vida saludable, en sentido global y pleno, lleva a la mejor comprensión de las razones por las que la condición humana, las condiciones de humanidad de la vida de los seres humanos, es vulnerable y puede ser vulnerada. La reflexión teórica y práctica sobre la formación, sobre la educación, busca descubrir las condiciones reales, de posibilidad y de límite, en las que en cada caso el proceso de humanización es posible y el compromiso humanitario es realizable. La reflexión sobre la formación, que busca perfeccionar el comportamiento humano, no puede soslayar la realidad aparente y generalizada por la que muchos seres humanos endurecen su sensibilidad, generan el maltrato o se satisfacen con la maldad. Es esta globalidad de perspectiva por la que el Grupo de Investigación manifestó y manifiesta estar interesado; al ponerla de manifiesto, comprobó que para alimentarla racionalmente debía situarse en un contexto interdisciplinar. Comprobó que la necesidad de alimentarla era poco discutible; pero, también comprobó, al mismo tiempo, que el esfuerzo intelectual necesario para implementarla era enormemente exigente. Que, por responsabilidad cognitiva, el investigador de la educación debe fomentar la misma apertura, intelectualmente abierta, que fomenta en sus estudiantes cuando le propone formación integral. La investigación en teoría de la educación reclama profundizar tanto en los mecanismos y procesos implicados en las mentes que se forman; profundizar, depurar y actualizar los contenidos de la formación que se propone; profundizar, depurar y actualizar en la gestión de los escenarios sociales reales en los que la formación se promueve. Es abrumadora la tarea; pero, también es capaz de satisfacer la más exigente de las curiosidades intelectuales. Exige una actitud abierta para el estudio, aunque las exigencias metodológicas de la investigación requieran de precisión y especialización en los problemas. Acogidos estos objetivos para elaborar el texto, el Grupo de Investigación ha tomado conciencia de la pluralidad de las líneas de investigación en las que cada uno se encuentra comprometido y de la necesidad de la reconstrucción permanente de su personal perspectiva global, mediante el respeto y la consideración pluridisciplinar de las aportaciones de otros de cara a la elaboración del texto final que presentamos. Ha quedado patente en la reflexión colectiva del grupo que las urgencias de responsabilidad local y personal consumían tiempo de reflexión abundante y que, frecuentemente, las demandas de proximidad limitaban la perspectiva, incluso razonablemente. Al confrontar las perspectivas personales elaboradas desde posiciones locales y personales diferentes se pudo advertir que el macroscopio necesario para reflexionar la formación de los seres humanos, la perspectiva global desde la que considerar la formación de los seres humanos, ha de encontrarse en los formadores, en los investigadores de la educación, en permanente estado de construcción; precisamente por hacerse sensible a todas las formas de exclusión. El Grupo de Investigación se propuso iniciar su recorrido, planteándose, desde la pluralidad de perspectivas personales, y en el marco de una sensibilidad abierta hacia la globalidad de la necesidad de la formación para todos los seres humanos, no tratando de construir un tratado cerrado, sino un programa abierto aunque fuese incompleto. Inició su andadura haciendo preguntas. Todos los miembros del grupo presentaron cuestiones por las que, desde su personal preocupación intelectual, se consideraban interpelados. Entre ellas destacamos las siguientes: • ¿Cuál es la importancia de la teoría de la educación en el momento actual? • ¿Existen las ciencias de la educación? • ¿Cómo integrar lo filosófico y lo pedagógico en el pensamiento educativo? • ¿En qué consiste elaborar una teoría de la educación cívica? • ¿Condiciones o características que debe tener un problema para considerarlo problema educativo del que se encargue la teoría de la educación? • ¿Por qué los seres humanos necesitan cultura para vivir? • ¿Por qué la cultura necesita ser acreditada en las comunidades de prácticas? • ¿Cómo se hace un malvado? • ¿Qué puede aportar la teoría de la educación a la construcción de una cultura sostenible? • ¿Cuáles han sido las principales corrientes internacionales de la teoría de la educación? • ¿Qué diferencia hay entre lo que hace un maestro y un músico cuando intentan enseñar música? • ¿Dónde está la cualidad educativa del trabajo de un profesor? • ¿Cómo cambia la concepción de aprendizaje en una cultura digital? • ¿Qué teoría de la educación y visión de ser humano para qué desarrollo? • ¿Hay una teoría de la educación para la educación no formal? • ¿Cuál es la teoría educativa que explica los procesos en los ámbitos no escolarizados? • ¿A quién le sirve la teoría educativa, al docente o al estudiante? • ¿Cuándo el formador de formadores está preparado para un cambio de actitud? • ¿Tiene vigencia la estructura escolar tal y como la conocemos? • ¿Hacia dónde va la educación? • ¿Qué factores determinan los cambios educativos en la actualidad? • ¿Cuáles son los marcos explicativos sobre el fenómeno de la educación y cómo han evolucionado? • ¿Es el discurso teórico educativo objeto de discusión de todos? • ¿Cobertura o calidad de la educación? • ¿Calidad u oportunidad educativa? Desde este listado de numerosas preguntas se discutieron afinidades y se decidieron 9 temas sobre los que centrar el texto: el primero de ellos gira en torno a los fundamentos y al desarrollo del pensamiento en educación; el segundo se centra en los aspectos antropológicos implicados en una teoría de la educación; el tercer capítulo versa sobre la construcción histórica y el reto actual de la teoría de la educación. Por su parte, el capítulo cuarto cifra su reflexión en el discurso teórico de la educación ambiental, centrándose el capítulo quinto en la teoría de la educación contextualizada en la Sociedad de la Información y el Conocimiento. El capítulo sexto hunde sus raíces en la problemática que gira en torno a la gestión del cambio y la innovación en educación; la especificidad de la función docente y las relaciones entre conocimientos temáticos y conocimientos pedagógicos es la temática que da cuerpo al capítulo sétimo, siendo el capítulo ocho fruto de diversas reflexiones e investigaciones en torno a los conceptos de inclusión y exclusión teniendo el derecho humano a la educación como hilo conductor. Termina el libro con un capítulo dedicado a la complejidad de los conceptos de cobertura, calidad y equidad en educación. El objetivo del libro ha sido el de re-crear un conocimiento en teoría de la educación, fruto de las investigaciones y experiencias propias de cada uno de los miembros del equipo en nuestros respectivos campos y grupos de trabajo, para así comenzar a construir un conocimiento compartido con posibilidad de transferencia. El fruto final que presentamos, base de todo el proceso que queda por desarrollar, son las diferentes respuestas a una batería de preguntas que hanservido de antesala, no sólo al primer libro que hemos hecho conjuntamente sino, sobre todo, a lo que será la futura transferencia de conocimiento por parte de este grupo de investigación. Öz: Bu çalışmama İslam’da bireyin kamuya karşı sorumluluk alanı ile bağlantılı bir ilkesini; “Emr-i bi’l- Ma’ruf ve Nehyi Ani’l-Münker”i İslam İnanç Ekolleri içerisinde nasıl algılandığını ve nasıl uygulandığını ele alacaktır. Bundaki amacım birey- kamu ilişkisinde, bireyin özgürlük alanlarının ihmal edildiği yönündeki varsayımımdır. Bu girişten sonra, çalışmada İslam inanç ekollerinin konuya ilişkin yaklaşımları ve bu yaklaşımlarına kaynak teşkil eden metinlere yer verilecektir. Çalışmamızda ekollerin kronolojik tarihlerini göz önünde bulunduran bir sıralama takip edeceğiz. Bundaki amacımız özellikle “Emr-i bi’l- Ma’ruf ve Nehyi Ani’l- (...) Münker” ilkesinin ekollerde ele alınışının erken dönem İslam Siyasal Tarihi ile önemli oranda bir ilişkisi olduğu anlayışımız sebebiyledir. İslam siyaset kuramının birlikte yaşam, özgürlük ve adalet iddia ve idealleri çerçevesinde konuya İslam teolojik mezhepleri yakın ilgi göstermişlerdir. Ekollerin “Emr-i bi’l-Ma’ruf ve Nehyi Ani’l-Münker” ilkesine yoğun ilgilerine karşın, farklı yaklaşımlar gösterdikleri de söylenebilir. İslam geleneği içerisinde bu kurucu ilke birey özgürlüğü ve kamu düzeni arasındaki gerilimler nedeniyle politik yorumları da beraberinde getirmiştir. “Haricî” ekoller her bir Müslüman için gereken bir sorumluluk olarak yorumlamış ve “ayn-i vacib” olduğunu dile getirmişlerdir. Diğer ekoller ise bu ilkeyi ” kifa-i bir vucûb” olarak kabul etmişlerdir. Diğer yandan Mu’tezile ekolü bu ilkeyi usulu’l-hamse’ den biri olarak kabul etmiştir. İslam siyaset geleneğinin önemli bileşenlerinden olan ilke mezhepler arasında farklı uygulamalara konu olmuştur. (shrink)

Bu makalede, Osmanlı’nın zirve dönemi âlimlerinden olan Taşköprîzâde’nin, insanı ahlâkî yönüyle merkeze alan bir risalesini analiz ve sentez yöntemiyle incelemeye çalıştık. Risale, insanın irâdî eylemlerinin toplamından oluşan, ahlâk, ev idaresi ve siyaset şeklinde üç temel ayağı bulunan amelî hikmeti, İslam kanunu üzere incelemektedir. İnsanın özgür olmakla beraber sorumlu olan yönetici kimliğinin ön plana çıktığı risalede bazı konularda sorgulayıcı, bazı konularda da (...) aşırı kaderci tutumun izleri rahatlıkla görülebilir. Kişinin hem iç dünyasında hem de çevresinde denge ve düzeni sağlayabilmesi kuvvetli bir sorumluluk bilincine bağlanmıştır. Müellifin devraldığı bilgi birikimini harmanlayarak aktarmadaki başarısı ve eklektik kişiliği bizlere, döneminin insan algısı hakkında derli toplu bilgiler sunmuştur. (shrink)

Öz: Teknoloji felsefesi görece olarak genç bir akademik alt-alan olmakla birlikte, ontoloji, epistemoloji, siyaset felsefesi, etik ve estetik gibi felsefe disiplininin daha köklü alt-alanlarıyla önemli bir kavramsal ilişki ağı içinde bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca bu dalın temel bazı meselelerinin derinlemesine incelenmesinin sosyoloji, antropoloji, psikoloji ve siyasi bilimler gibi disiplinlerin birikimlerinden ve yaklaşımlarından yararlanmayı da gerekli kıldığını belirtebiliriz. Bu yazımda teknoloji felsefesi alanını genel hatlarıyla ve güncel olgular ışığında kısaca tanıttıktan sonra, bu alanda ilginç ve kuramsal yönden değerli bulduğum iki sorunsalı sergileyip irdeliyorum. (...) İlki toplumsal bir gerçek olarak teknolojinin nasıl bir doğası, karakteri veya kendini ileri taşıma itkisi olduğunun sorgulanmasıdır. Bu çerçevede, söz konusu literatüre 20. yüzyılda önemli katkılar yapmış olan Jacques Ellul, Hans Jonas ve Arnold Gehlen’in antropolojik-felsefi boyuttaki önemli bazı düşüncelerini açıklayıp tartışıyorum. İkinci olarak, Albert Borgmann’ın Heidegger’in fikirlerinden ilham alarak ürettiği “odaklı pratikler” kavramını betimleyerek onun görüşlerine gelen tepkilerden bazılarını ele alarak inceliyorum. Yazının son kısmında, çağdaş teknolojinin çoğulculuk, değişkenlik ve geçişkenlik kavramları üzerinden oluşan yeni felsefi kimliğine ilişkin bazı görüngübilimsel düşünceler sunuyorum. (shrink)

Öz: Bu makale Neolitik döneme ait ve Anadolu’da inşa edilen ilk tapınak olma özelliğine sahip Göbeklitepe’yi ele almaktadır. Arkeologlara göre burası insanlığın en eski tapınaklarından biridir. Göbeklitepe, yerleşik hayattan ve tarımsal üretimden yoksun olan avcı-toplayıcı toplulukların dinsel inanışları hakkında çok önemli bilgiler sunar. Bu tapınak, arkaik insanların dinden ve inançtan yoksun ilkel bir hayat sürmediklerini, aksine bir inanca sahip olduklarını, inançlarını yaşamak için tapınak inşa ettiklerini ve zengin bir dinî sembol kullandıklarını göstermektedir. Göbeklitepe, insanların yerleşik hayata geçip kendisi için konut (...) yapmadan, hayvanları evcilleştirmeden ve tarımsal üretime başlamadan önce dinî ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için tapınak yaptığının bir göstergesidir. Özet: Bu makale Neolitik döneme ait ve Anadolu’da inşa edilen ilk tapınak olma özelliğine sahip Göbeklitepe’yi ele almaktadır. Şanlıurfa yakınlarında 1995 yılında başlatılan arkeolojik kazılar, insanlık tarihine bakış açımızı değiştirmiş ve geçmiş hakkında sahip olduğumuz bilgilerin doğruluğunu test etme imkânı sunmuştur. Göbeklitepe, arkaik insanın inanç ve düşünce dünyası hakkındaki bilgilerimizin gerçeği yansıtmadığını göstermiştir. Yaşamını avcı-toplayıcı olarak sağlamaya çalışan, din ve soyut düşünceden yoksun olduğu düşünülen, çanak-çömlek yapmasını bile bilmeyen, tarımı ve yerleşik hayatı keşfetmemiş insanların yoğun ve zengin bir sembolik anlatıma sahip tapınaklar yapması, bilim adamlarını derinden etkilemiştir. Toplamda 20 adet olan ve çapı 10 -30 metre arasında değişen dairesel yapılardan oluşan Göbeklitepe tapınaklarının en ilgi çekici unsuru, T biçiminde olan ve üzerinde soyut sembol ve hayvan kabartmalarını bulunduran dikili taşlardır. Dairesel yapının merkezinde iki adet ve çevresinde 10 ile 12 adet arasında T biçiminde yaklaşık 200 tane dikili taş bulunmaktadır. Bu T biçimindeki dikili taşlar üzerinde kapsamlı bir inceleme yapıldığında ve kadim Anadolu ve Mezopotamya uygarlıklarının dinsel inanışları ve tapınak kültü göz önünde bulundurulduğunda, bu dikili taşların tanrıları sembolize ettiği anlaşılmaktadır. Göbeklitepe, çocukları veya daha küçük dereceli tanrılar tarafından çevrelenen ve bu tanrıların oluşturduğu çemberin merkezinde yer alan tanrı ve tanrıça çiftinin oluşturduğu tanrılar panteonunun kutsal alanıdır. Göbeklitepe bir tapınak olmanın ötesinde karanlıkta kalmış bir inanç sisteminin en önemli temsilcisi olarak karşımızda durmaktadır. Yazılı kaynakların bulunmadığı ve sınırlı arkeolojik verilerin elde edilebildiği Neolitik Dönemin erken evresine ait olan Göbeklitepe, bu dönemde yaşamış arkaik insanın inanç ve düşünce dünyasını bize göstermektedir. Bu megalitik yapının yapısal ve biçimsel özellikleri, arkaik insanın sanıldığı gibi ilkel olmadığını kanıtlamaktadır. Göbeklitepe, dinin doğuşu ve gelişimi konusunda çok önemli bilgiler sunmaktadır. Özellikle evrimci ve pozitivist bakış açılarıyla oluşturulmuş ve dinin büyü, ruh, korku, atalara tapma gibi basit ve asılsız yapılardan doğup zamanla karmaşık ve kurumsal inançlar biçimine dönüştüğünü öne süren teorilerin gerçeği yansıtmadığını göstermiştir. Araştırmacılar, avcı-toplayıcı toplulukların yerleşik hayata ve tarımsal üretime geçtikten sonra toplumsal yaşamla birlikte bazı sorunlarla karşılaştıklarını ve bu sorunlara çözüm arayışının dinlerin doğuşunu hazırladığını düşünüyorlardı. Diğer bir ifade ile kurumsal dinler, karmaşık toplumsal yaşamın bir ürünü ve sonucu olarak görülüyordu. Fakat Göbeklitepe dinsel inanışların düşünülenden çok daha eski dönemlerde, kurumsal olarak ve basit olmayan formlarda bulunduğunu göstermiştir. Göbeklitepe’nin, bilinen en eski ve ilk tapınak yapısı olduğu iddia edilmektedir. Kendisinden önce bilinen antik tapınaklardan en az 5000 yıl eski olan bu megalitik yapı, uygarlığın gelişiminde dinsel inanışların ne kadar etkili ve önemli olduğunu açık bir şekilde göstermektedir. Uzun yıllar kazı başkanlığını yapmış olan arkeolog Klaus Schmidt, Göbeklitepe’nin ortaya çıkmasıyla birlikte “.. önce tapınak kuruldu sonra şehir. ” sözleriyle, insanoğlunun genlerinde bulunan inanma ihtiyacının ne kadar öncelikli olduğunu ifade etmiştir. Göbeklitepe insanoğlunun konut, tarım ve çanak çömlek gibi temel ihtiyaçlardan önce görkemli ve karmaşık tapınaklar yaptığını ve bunun arkaik insan topluluklarının güçlü inanç duygusundan kaynaklandığını göstermiştir. İnsanın genlerinde bulunan inanma ihtiyacı insana her şeyden önce tapınak yapmayı ilham etmiştir. Göbeklitepe ile temsil edilen inanç sistemi ve düşünce dünyasının ne kadar zengin ve etkili olduğunu, aynı bölgede en az 5000 yıl sonra ortaya çıkan Anadolu ve Mezopotamya uygarlıkları üzerindeki etkisinden anlayabiliriz. Bu uygarlıkların tapınak yapıları ve dinsel inanışları, bu megalitik yapı ile dikkate değer bir biçimde uyuşmaktadır. Bu uygarlıkların karanlıkta kalmış yönlerini ortaya çıkarmada, Göbeklitepe kaçırılmayacak bir fırsat sunmaktadır. Bu megalitik yapı ortaya çıktığında büyük ses getirmiş ve bilim insanlarının ilgisini çekmiştir. Hakkında yazılı ve görsel basında çok sayıda haberin çıktığı bu tapınak kompleksinin, Aden bahçesi, Babil Asma Bahçelerinin kalıntısı, Şaman tapınağı ve uzaylıların merkezi olduğu iddiaları ortaya atılmıştır. Göbeklitepe üzerinde yapılan arkeolojik kazıların ilerlemesi ve onun hakkında daha fazla bilgiye ulaşılması, onun bir ritüel merkezi olarak tapınak olduğunu göstermiştir. Göbeklitepe’nin yapısal ve biçimsel özellikleri, bu yapının her şeyden önce bir tapınak olduğunu göstermiştir. Gerek dikili taşlardan oluşan dairesel yapıları ve gerekse yerleşim yerlerinden uzak yüksek bir tepede bulunması bu düşünceyi güçlendirmektedir. Göbeklitepe’yi avcı-toplayıcı toplulukların ibadet ettikleri, tanrılara kurbanlar sundukları, yılın belirli dönemlerinde dinî festival ve şölenler gerçekleştirdikleri, tanrıların yaşadığı kutsal mekânlar olarak gördükleri ve kutsalı tecrübe ettikleri bir tapınak olarak düşünmek daha doğru bir yaklaşımdır. Göbeklitepe’nin, tarih boyunca inanç merkezi olarak kalmış ve peygamberler şehri olarak bilinen Şanlıurfa’da ortaya çıkması ülkemiz için önemli bir ekonomik ve kültürel fırsat oluşturmuştur. Anadolu’nun ne kadar kadim ve zengin bir kültürel dokuya sahip olduğunu kanıtlayan bu megalitik yapı, ortaya çıktığı günden beri birçok yerli ve yabancı araştırmacının akınına uğramıştır. Bilimsel literatürün en eski ve ilk tapınağı olan Göbeklitepe, arkaik insanın günümüz insanına miras olarak bıraktığı ve insanlığın ilk dönem sırlarını taşıyan gizemli bir tapınak kompleksidir. Teosofi Cemiyeti, 1875 yılında ABD’de kurulan bir modern ezoterik ve okültist harekettir. Cemiyetin doktrinel lideri gizemli bir kişilik olan Helena Petrovna Blavatsky’dir. Temelde Batı ezoterik ve okült geleneklerine yönelen Teosofi hareketi 1879 yılında Hindistan’a taşındı. Bu tarihten itibaren Teosofi literatürüne Hint öğretileri hâkim oldu. Bu anlamda cemiyet tam anlamıyla senkretik bir yapı sergiledi. Cemiyet reenkarnasyon ve karma başta olmak üzere Hint düşünce ve inanç dünyasının kavramlarını Batı’ya taşımada önemli rol oynadı. Ürettiği literatür birçok Batılının Doğu öğretilerini tanımasına vesile oldu. Mahatma (...) Gandhi dahi öz kültürünü tanımada Teosofi Cemiyeti’nin etkisini ifade etmiştir. Bugün Batı dünyasında Tibet’in egzotik ve mistik bir merkez olarak tanınmasında ise cemiyetin özel bir yeri vardır. Tüm bunların yanında cemiyet Hint öğretilerini yozlaştırdığı hususunda ciddi eleştiriler de almıştır. Bu çalışma Teosofi Cemiyeti’nin Doğu öğretilerini Batı’ya taşımadaki rolünü değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. (shrink)

This study explores the research paradigms of contemporary business ethics research in 2001–2008. With citation data from the top two business ethics journals included in the Social Sciences Citation Index, this study conducts citation and co-citation analysis to identify the most important publications, scholars, and research themes in the business ethics area and then maps the intellectual structure of business ethics studies between 2001 and 2008. The results show that current business ethics studies cluster around four major research themes, including (...) morality and social contract theory, ethical decision making, corporate social responsibility, and stakeholder theory. This study helps profile the invisible network of knowledge production in business ethics and provides important insights on current research paradigms of business ethics studies. (shrink)

Intuitionistic propositional logic with Galois negations ( \(\mathsf {IGN}\) ) is introduced. Heyting algebras with Galois negations are obtained from Heyting algebras by adding the Galois pair \((\lnot,{\sim })\) and dual Galois pair \((\dot{\lnot },\dot{\sim })\) of negations. Discrete duality between GN-frames and algebras as well as the relational semantics for \(\mathsf {IGN}\) are developed. A Hilbert-style axiomatic system \(\mathsf {HN}\) is given for \(\mathsf {IGN}\), and Galois negation logics are defined as extensions of \(\mathsf {IGN}\). We give the bi-tense (...) logic \(\mathsf {S4N}_t\) which is obtained from the minimal tense extension of the modal logic \(\mathsf {S4}\) by adding tense operators. We give a new extended Gödel translation \(\tau \) and prove that \(\mathsf {IGN}\) is embedded into \(\mathsf {S4N}_t\) by \(\tau \). Moreover, every Kripke-complete Galois negation logic _L_ is embedded into its tense companion \(\tau (L)\). (shrink)

Discusses the conditions of possibility for intercultural and comparative philosophy, and for crosscultural communication at large. This innovative book explores the preconditions necessary for intercultural and comparative philosophy. Philosophical practices that involve at least two different traditions with no common heritage and whose languages have very different grammatical structure, such as Indo-Germanic languages and classical Chinese, are a particular focus. Lin Ma and Jaap van Brakel look at the necessary and not-so-necessary conditions of possibility of interpretation, comparison, and other forms (...) of interaction and how we can speak of similarities and differences in this context. The authors posit that it is necessary to dissolve the question of universalism versus relativism by replacing the ideal language paradigm with a paradigm of family resemblances and that it is not necessary to share a common language to engage in comparison. Objective: To investigate the relationship between psychological empowerment, psychological capital, job involvement, and the retention intention of kindergarten teachers in mainland China and the internal mechanism of action.Methods: A total of 554 kindergarten teachers were investigated by scales for psychological empowerment, psychological capital, job involvement, and retention intention.Results: Psychological empowerment was positively correlated with psychological capital and job involvement. Psychological capital was positively correlated with job involvement. Psychological empowerment, psychological capital, and job involvement were significantly and positively correlated with retention (...) intention. Psychological empowerment influences kindergarten teachers' retention intention mainly through three indirect effects: the single intermediary effects of psychological capital and job involvement and the chain intermediary effect of psychological capital → job involvement.Conclusion: Psychological empowerment can not only indirectly predict the retention intention of kindergarten teachers through the single intermediary effects of psychological capital and job involvement, but also indirectly predict the retention intention of kindergarten teachers through the chain intermediary effect of psychological capital and job involvement. Customer civility is an established construct in the study of ethical consumption. However, scholars have paid insufficient attention to customer civility in relation to the flourishing peer-to-peer economy. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to develop and test a theoretical framework which examines the antecedents of the customer civility in the P2P economy. We use social exchange theory to develop a model that posits customer interaction experiences with property owners, properties, and P2P platforms as antecedents of customer civility in (...) the P2P economy. Two studies were used to test our framework: Study 1 comprises a survey of Chinese customers ; Study 2 involves secondary data crawled from the Web site of Xiaozhu, one of China’s largest P2P accommodation platforms. OLS regression analysis was used for hypothesis testing. Results demonstrate three antecedents of customer civility in the P2P accommodation sector: interpersonal trust, property experience, and platform governance. In addition, the positive effect of interpersonal trust on customer civility is stronger when customers have high economic incentive, while the effect of property experience is significantly stronger when customers have low economic incentive. Artificial Intelligence -powered products have started to permeate various spheres of our lives. One of the most controversial of such products is the sex robot, an application of the AI-integrated robotic technology in the domain of human sexual gratification. The aim of this research is to understand the general public’s receptiveness towards this controversial new invention. Drawing upon the social intuitionist model, we find that the fear of AI, emblematic of the broader anxiety of technology’s encroachment on the human sphere, (...) shapes the public’s receptiveness to sex robots. Perceived substitutability of sex robots for human-to-human sexual interactions mediates this relationship. Religiosity is found to moderate this mediated relationship. Our findings are first established with a cross-sectional study. A “big data” field study further validates them. The present research is one of the first empirical studies to examine the underlying psychology of the public’s receptiveness to sex robots. By doing so, we aim to provide relevant government and industry bodies with a better understanding of this important topic for more informed policy making, and to raise awareness of the significant social and ethical implications should sex robots become widely accepted and adopted. We argue that all general concepts are family resemblance concepts. These include concepts introduced by ostension, such as colour. Concepts of colour and of each of the specific colours are family resemblance concepts because similarities concerning an open-ended range of colour or of appearance features crop up and disappear. After discussing the notion of “same colour” and Wittgenstein's use of the phrase “our colours”, we suggest family resemblance concepts in one tradition can often be extended to family resemblance concepts in (...) another tradition, illustrated by Wittgenstein's use of the words Spiel and “game”. Why should interpretation of conceptual schemes and practices across traditions work at all? In this paper we present the following necessary conditions of possibility for interpretation in comparative and Chinese philosophy: the interpreter must presuppose that there are mutually recognizable human practices; the interpreter must presuppose that “the other” is, on the whole, sincere, consistent, and right; the interpreter must be committed to certain epistemic virtues. Some of these necessary conditions are consistent with the fact that interpretation is not thwarted (...) by the “danger” of relativism or of incommensurability. Some other conditions are suggestive of reorientations of methodologies of comparative and Chinese philosophy. (shrink)

The Sarvadarśanasaṃgraha "Compendium of All Philosophies" was composed in the fourteenth century, in the South Indian empire of Vijayanagara. It is a complicated text meant for scholars that presents a series of sixteen different Indian philosophies.

This volume explores how understanding relates to conscious experience. In doing so, it builds bridges between different philosophical disciplines and provides a metaphysically robust characterization of understanding, both in and beyond science. The past two decades have witnessed growing interest from epistemologists, philosophers of science, philosophers of mind, and ethicists in the nature and value of intellectual understanding. This volume features original essays on understanding and the phenomenal experiences that underlie it. The chapters are divided into three thematic sections. Attempts to reach an understanding of how to live a Christian life in the contemporary context have never been more necessary. This is the aim of the International Symposium: Beyond Secular Faith, an annual conference held in Granada, Spain. This volume represents the fruits of over seven years of scholarship. The title Beyond Secular Faith suggests we are interested in (re)discovering and reflectively elaborating ways to overcome the limits imposed by the dominant contemporary culture. Hintikka’s model systems are applied to prove the completeness of labelled tableau systems. The finite model property, decidability and disjunction property are obtained by labelled tableau method.

Erken dönem tasavvuf tarihinde iki ana akımdan biri olarak kabul edilen Horasan tasavvuf ekolünün şekillenmesinde Hâtim el-Esam (ö.237/851) önemli bir figür olarak karşımıza çıkar. İbrahim b. Edhem (ö.161/778) ve Şakîk-i Belhî (ö.194/810) kanalıyla gelen öğretinin Horasan ve Maveraünnehir genelinde aktarım ve intişarının sağlamasında onun etkin bir rol oynadığı bilinir. Aynı zamanda yetiştirdiği talebeleriyle Melâmetîliğin teşekkülüne katkı sağladığı kabul edilir. Bu makale Hâtim el-Esam’ın entelektüel açıdan kimliği ve ilişkiler ağının tespitine odaklanmaktadır. Herhangi bir akademik çalışmaya konu edilmediği görülen söz konusu odağı, (...) farklı ilmî sahalardan istifade ettiği literatürle erken dönemdeki mesele ve tartışmalardan faydalanarak sunmaya çalışır. Bu itibarla Hâtim el-Esam’ın muhaddis, fakih ve sufi kimliğiyle Horasan ilim havzasının önemli şehirlerinden biri olan Belh’te ilmî faaliyetlerin ve özellikle hadis ilminin sürekliliğine katkı yaptığı ortaya konmuştur. Çok yönlü ilişkiler ağına sahip olduğu tespit edilen Hâtim el-Esam’ın Belh ve Bağdat ulemâsı ile irtibatının dostluk ve irşad eksenli ve aynı zamanda fıkh-ı bâtın vurgulu olduğu görülürken Rey, Kazvin ve Medine-i Münevvere ulemasıyla olan münasebetlerininse eleştiri odaklı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Nebevî mirasa bütünüyle sahip çıkılmamasına ilişkin söz konusu eleştirel münasebet biçimi, erken dönemde sufilerin, biçim-öz bütünlüğünden uzaklaşmaları nedeniyle diğer ilim müntesiplerine yönelttikleri tenkitlerin bir yansıması olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Are public and private standards affecting farmer knowledge and moving farm practices toward food safety and environmental sustainability in China? We surveyed 355 apple farmers involved in chains supplying a diversity of retailing points, including supermarkets. Using a multivariate regression model, we find no measurable evidence that the certification schemes of farm bases and agribusiness companies lead to improved apple growers’ knowledge regarding pest and disease management. The observed behavioral changes are mainly prompted by delegated decision-making towards leaders of farm (...) bases, which raises questions on the long-term changes in farmers’ practices and on the fundamental values and ethics of China’s agrofood system that is governed through the standards.
