Analysis Determinant Factors for Optimization of Distributing & Monitoring Sustainability Linked Loan by Creditor – Case Study Bank X.Sofia Rehulina Sembiring & Ancella Anitawati Hermawan - forthcoming - Evolutionary Studies in Imaginative Culture:317-332.
Sustainability-linked loans (SLLs) have emerged as a financial instrument to promote environmentally and socially sustainable practices by linking loan terms to the borrower's achievement of predetermined sustainability targets. However, there is a lack of research examining the challenges banks face in disbursing and monitoring SLLs from a lender's perspective. This study aims to identify the obstacles encountered by Bank X in granting and tracking SLLs by evaluating two corporate borrowers and one commercial borrower (PT A, PT B, and PT C) (...)

Attitude extremity as a determinant of attitude change in the forced-compliance experiment.David R. Shaffer - 1974 - Bulletin of the Psychonomic Society 3 (1):51-53.
Ss, holding either extreme or moderate initial attitudes, wrote counterattitudinal essays in a test of contradictory hypotheses derived from Festinger’s cognitive dissonance theory and Bem’s self-perception theory. The results indicated, as predicted by dissonance theory, that Ss holding extreme initial attitudes showed more attitude change after counterattitudinal advocacy than Ss holding moderate initial attitudes. It was demonstrated that the results were not due to regression effects, to the production of differentially persuasive essays across the extremity conditions, or to the fact (...)

Difficulty matters: Unspecific attentional demands as a major determinant of performance highlighted by clinical studies.Mario Bonato, Marco Zorzi & Carlo Umiltà - 2013 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 36 (6):680-681.
The cognitive impairments shown by brain-damaged patients emphasize the role of task difficulty as a major determinant for performance. We discuss the proposal of Kurzban et al. in light of our findings on right-hemisphere–damaged patients, who show increasing awareness deficits for the contralesional hemispace when engaged with resource-consuming dual tasks. This phenomenon is readily explained by the assumption of unspecific depletable resources.

Federal Indian Law as a Structural Determinant of Health.Aila Hoss - 2019 - Journal of Law, Medicine and Ethics 47 (S4):34-42.
Federal Indian law is the body of law that defines the rights, responsibilities, and relationships between three sovereigns, Tribes, states, and the federal government. This area of law has defined, oftentimes poorly, the contours of treaty rights, criminal and civil jurisdiction, economic development, among other issues. Much has been documented in terms of the implications of social, legal, political, and economic systems that perpetuate inequities amongst American Indian and Alaska Native populations. There has also been substantial research on health inequalities. (...)

Interactivity: A Potential Determinant of Learning by Preparing to Teach and Teaching.Keiichi Kobayashi - 2019 - Frontiers in Psychology 9.
It has been suggested that preparing to teach and teaching are conditionally effective in enhancing one’s own learning. This paper focuses on interactivity—the level of teacher-student interaction in expected or actual teaching—as the potential key to understanding and controlling the variability in the effectiveness of learning by preparing to teach and teaching. By summarizing and reanalyzing the results of previous studies, I suggest that the learning benefits of studying with the expectation of direct teaching (i.e., teaching a student face-to-face) are (...)

Two sample populations, one refugee and one resident, were studied. The frequencies of consanguineous marriages came out to be 49·8% and 55·4%, respectively, for the refugees and the residents. Caste endogamy was dominant both in the residents and the refugees. The mean coefficient of inbreeding was calculated to be 0·0303 for the refugee population and 0·0332 for the resident population samples. First cousin marriage was the dominant type of marriage in both samples; fathers daughter (FBD) marriage was more frequent among (...)

    Gestalt as a Determinant of Brand Management – A Sociological Perspective on Branding in German-Speaking Discourse.Oliver Errichiello - 2021 - Gestalt Theory 43 (2):231-246.
For almost 40 years, a specific form of brand management with scientific and practical resonance has been evolving in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – along with a multitude of microeconomic schools and authors. This form of brand management goes by the term “Brand Sociology” and sees the brand as a Gestalt system of alliances. Brand Sociology fills a gap in the classical economic approach and makes it possible to understand the central target variables of brand management as social dynamics and (...)

This study aims to use the Asian knowledge model “APO” as a determinant for performance excellence in universities and identifying the most effecting factors on it. This study was applied on Al-Azhar University in Gaza strip. The result of the study showed that (APO) model is valid as a measure and there are four dimensions in the model affecting significantly more than the others (university processes, KM leadership, personnel, KM outputs). A random sample of 207 national business consultants is employed to test the effects of individual values and professional ethics on consulting behavior. The results suggest that the individual values held by consultants are positively correlated with professional ethics, but are negatively correlated with consulting behavior. Moreover, there appears to be no significant relationship between the professional ethics of consultants and business consulting behavior. Findings and issues regarding the effectiveness of codes of ethics and implications for both the provider and (...)
