    Die vorliegende Arbeit widmet sich dem Schweizer Philosophen, Psychologen und Pädagogen Paul Häberlin (1878-1960). In ausgreifenden Studien wird das komplexe Werk Häberlins detailliert in philosophische und pädagogische Reflexionen gebrochen, wobei nicht das Fragmentarische als Errungenschaft eines aufgeklärten Geistes gefeiert, sondern als dessen Konvergenz ausgewiesen wird. Schließlich fügt sich Häberlins Bearbeitung der Moderne mit deren Dichotomie von Einheit und Vielheit zu einem summarischen Entwurf. Daraus ergeben sich Anknüpfungen, die Schnittstellen bezeichnen und offene Fragen der disziplinären Diskurse verhandeln.
